Founded in 2023, JKL Productions was born out of a passion for excellent customer service within the Caribbean small business community and an overall desire to help nonprofits succeed. Our team consists of three experienced community leaders who specialize in event planning, nonprofit leadership, legal, and corporate management skills.

Jenniffer Brown

Leader, Visionary, Pragmatist - is an accomplished leader in the Business of Law with over 25 years of expertise in strategic and organizational leadership.  Jenniffer is recognized for her proficiency in talent management, change management, and program development, driving impactful results across every role she undertakes.

Jenniffer has held notable volunteer leadership roles within the Association of Legal Administrators, where she achieved multiple milestones as the first Jamaican President of the New York City Chapter and the only Jamaican to have chaired both local and international Diversity and Inclusion Committees.

Since 2016, she has been serving as President of the Westwood Old Girls’ Association of New York (WOGANY). Under her stewardship, WOGANY attained 501(c)(3) certification, issued key contributions to Westwood High School, including scholarships, technology upgrades, and emergency support after two campus fires.

Jenniffer’s commitment to servant leadership extends to her role as a former nonprofit Board Director.  A graduate of Pace University’s Human Resources Management program, she embraces lifelong learning, leveraging her diverse experiences in the U.S. and Jamaica to foster inclusive, high-impact leadership.

Karlene M. Largie

Planner, Leader, Educator - is accomplished in these respective specialties. With over 25 years of experience, she excels in leading high-performing teams in supporting, organizing and delivering events for family, clients, and community.  Her experience covers the plethora of tasks that showcase her dedication to ensuring what’s best to achieve the goals.

A retired Former Vice President of Banking Operations, New York City, she is a Past President of the Union of Jamaican Alumni Associations (USA) Inc. (UJAA) among other leadership roles in the organization. Karlene has spent the last 28 years focused on volunteer leadership positions within her Diaspora community including her high school Alumnae Association chapter in New York where she is a past President and currently the Vice President.

Recognition from her peers and community leaders include being inducted into her high school’s Hall of Fame and the recipient of the Jamaica’s Consul General to New York Heritage Award. In addition to her leadership skills, Karlene is well known for her event planning details, her sense of style, as well as keen interest in what is “new” to the craft and leaning in to “making a difference.”

Lesleyann Samuel

Engineer, Educator, Leader – has over 35 years’ experience as a leader and volunteer in several non-profit and for-profit organizations.  Having served in a wide variety of positions, she is adept at organizing and planning events as well as providing expert guidance on creating, developing and building organizations.

She is a past president of the Union of Jamaican Alumni Associations (USA) Inc. (www.ujaausa.org) – an umbrella organization of alumni associations of primary, secondary and tertiary schools in Jamaica.  She also serves on the Executive Board of Immaculate Conception High School Alumnae Association NY - one of her alma maters. 

For over 20 years, Lesleyann has been an adjunct professor in the Business Department of at the University of Maryland’s Global Campus teaching courses in Organizational Leadership and Business Management.  She is also a Technical Writer for several organizations specializing in telecommunications and information technology. Lesleyann holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
